For most women, it is right at this critical juncture between girlhood and womanhood, when your sexual energy is coming online and your natural impetus towards individuation is burgeoning forth, that the stamp of shame and shut-down is most forcefully experienced. 

 

Through the distortion and demonisation of sexuality, objectification of the body, discomfort around emotion and fear of raw feminine power, The Awakening Feminine in and around us has been lost and repressed.

Mothers and fathers alike have passed on this inheritance unwittingly. Both standard-bearers of a patriarchal norm that puts the sacred feminine down. Not knowing how to lovingly and consciously champion your blossoming, parents may, instead, either have sought to control and contain your essence or abruptly taken distance. And you, in your innocence, took it personally.

For most of us, there were no wise elders to usher girls through this huge initiation: this potent opportunity to claim, celebrate and express your unique soul gifts, learn to honour your cyclical wisdom and master your sensual energy.

Meaning that the world is full of grown women who have been infantilised. Who carry an imprint of naivete, codependence and immaturity, making them susceptible to romantic idealism and abuse. And who are still, on some level, whether sexually, professionally or relationally, hampered by their wounded teenage self.

In this weekend deep-dive, held in the potent alchemical energy of Glastonbury, we will immerse ourselves in embodiment practices, ritual, sharing circles, meditation and initiatory rites to bring healing and integration to this part of ourselves and claim our sovereignty as women.

Calling back all those lost parts - the joy, playfulness, creativity, innocent sensuality, infinite potential and unique gifts - and marrying them with the authentic, rooted She-source, who takes full responsibility for her life and becomes the Queen of her realm.
